Travel Nostalgia: Cambridge - Market Square

Hello again! I was looking through photos of my trip to Europe and I thought I would share some pictures.

The first place we visited and my favourite was Cambridge. It's such a beautiful town, and  we were lucky enough to be able to find accommodation at Downing College which was a fantastic experience - actually getting to stay in student rooms, wandering around the College grounds and having breakfast in the Dining Hall! We also went on a College Tour and visited King's College and Queens' College which were both beautiful. My favourite part of our short stay there however, was simply wandering around the town, along The Backs, and just taking in the atmosphere of this amazing and historic place.

These are some photos I took at the market, and there will be plenty more of the rest of Cambridge to come!

My Style Diary - Bright Pink and White

Hello :)

So I've finally managed to take some photos when I'm wearing something colourful! While I do love white (and I wear it a lot) I also really like wearing bright colours... in particular pink. I love the cut of this top and the fabric makes it a little bit more dressy than a normal t-shirt.  The colour is just so bright and cheerful - it makes me smile :)

Another very exciting thing about this outfit is my new bag! I went on a rather large shopping spree last Thursday (my excuse is that the sales where too good to pass up!) and one of the things I found was this lovely handbag. It's from Jigsaw and I absolutely love the colour, style, size...everything about it really. I think I'll do a separate "What's in my bag" post so I won't ramble on about it now.

Anyway, I hope you've had a lovely day

Lots of Love

My Style Diary - A girlie dress and biker boots

I love these boots that I picked up from All Saints when I was in London. Tom and I were walking along Portobello road and it started raining so we popped in to get out of the rain. Tom actually spotted these boots first and now whenever I look at them they remind me of that really fun day :).

They are super comfy and are the perfect thing to "toughen up" a pretty dress so it's not too girlie. This is the first time I've been able to wear them as it's been much too hot, but once it cools down I'm sure they will be making many appearances in outfit posts! I feel a bit like Aria from Pretty Little Liars in this outfit - I definitely think it's something she would wear. Speaking of PLL, I'm now off to watch the latest episode and then have an early night before work tomorrow! Goodnight.

Handbag Hunting - Inspiration

Having just recently started work after 5 years of being a student,  it was very exciting for me to receive my first pay check the other day! I've decided that as a graduation present to myself I would really like to get a nice handbag - something that I can keep for years and that will also remind me of this  exciting time in my life.

I've made a couple of sets on Polyvore for inspiration and thought that I would share them. A lot of these bags are a long way out of the price range that I could justify, but this is really just for inspiration and to get an idea of what I'd like...and there's no harm in looking right?

I can't decide whether I want to go for a black or beige/cream colour, but I do know that whatever I choose it is going to be classic, timeless and something that I can use for years.
